What is primary Dysmenorrhea:
It is menstrual pain
What is menstrual pain?
The pain that women (mostly teens) go through during their periods..
Does all women go through it?
Not all, but mostly do and the degree of pain differs from a person to another.
The pain lessens as the women grow older..
What are the symptoms of menstrual pain?
The symptoms may vary but some includes:
Abdominal cramping or dull ache that moves to lower back and legs
Heavy menstrual flow
Headache
Nausea
Constipation or diarrhea
Frequent urination
Vomiting (not common)
What causes it:
strong contractions of the uterus triggered by prostaglandins
What is prostaglandins:
a chemical substance in the body that involves in inflammation and pain,
It triggers the contraction of the uterus
The higher level of prostaglandins, the more painful it is.
Treatment options:
Nutrition and Supplements
Why am I posting about this?
It's because I'm experiencing it right now, and it hurts so bad.
I haven't been able to walk the whole day.
I couldn't eat
I felt nausea
I felt dizzy
I felt tired
I felt pain
Note to the guys who laugh at girls whose on their period:
Periods are no joke..
It hurts like hell...
Don't mess with us..
